Apple is planning to bring satellite connectivity to its smartwatches in the future.
This support will allow users to SOS response and emergency texting directly from the users wrist.
According to the reports by Bloomberg, this technology isnt expected to be ready until 2024.

Earlier, there were rumors of the iPhone 13 series getting satellite connectivity, but it did not happen.
It would appear with gray bubbles in the Messages app.
The rig will ask what jot down of emergency it is.

The system will also be able to take more information like someone falling overboard or a ship sinking.
