Basically, the Confidential Mode will bring self-destructing emails, among other privacy-focused changes.
So, its indeed a great feature which we couldnt wait to have it in our Gmail.
The new version of Gmail will show a lock icon in the compose box.
The lock icon will activate the confidential mode.
Here users can set the expiration date for the email after which it would be deleted.
By default, the Confidential Mode on Gmail will stop emails from being copied, forwarded or printed.
It will ask users to verify their identity before revealing the emails content.
Overall, its a great feature to have.
