Google Chrome has a built-in password manager that can generate or save passwords.
Before diving into advanced methods, check whether Password Saving is enabled.
Launch the Google Chrome internet tool.

Click thethree dotsat the top right and selectPasswords and Autofill > Google Password Manager.
On the next screen, switch to theSettingstab.
On the right side, see to it the toggle besideOffer to save passwordsis enabled.

If its already enabled, disable it and enable it again.
If this happens, the Google Password Manager wont save the password of that site.
So, you also need to check whether the problem sites are on the Declined Apps and Sites list.

Click thethree dotsat the top right and selectPasswords and autofill > Google Password Manager.
Scroll down to theDeclined Sites and Appssection and look for the site.
If the site is on the list, tap the X icon next to the site URL.

This problem happens mostly when you install security related extension on your Chrome net surf tool.
You should review the extensions installed on your web web app.
To disable an extension: grab the three dots > Extensions > Manage Extensions.

On the Extensions page, disable all Chrome Extensions, then test whether Chrome is saving the passwords.
If Chrome still doesnt save the password, you might switch on the extensions.
Google often releases Chrome updates to deal with these kinds of bugs & glitches.

To update Google Chrome, punch the three dots and select prefs.
On the controls, switch to the About Chrome section.

Launch the Chrome surfing app and choose yourprofile picturein the top right corner.
On the menu that appears, selectManage Profiles.
- select theSettings gearicon beside other profiles.

- tap the three dots on the Chrome profile and selectDelete.
On the confirmation prompt, clickDelete.
Resetting the Chrome surfing app will remove all user-made options, preferences, customizations, and user profiles.

Move to theChrome Settingspage.
On the left side, click onReset prefs.
On the right side, click onRestore options to their original defaults.

On the Confirmation prompt, click onReset Settingsagain.
To do that, stick to this.
- punch the three dots and then navigate to thePasswords and Autofill > Google Password Manager.

On the right side, choose theAddbutton.
Enter the site URL, username, and the Password you want to save.
Once done, clickSave.
