These 150 apps were a part of campaign called UltimaSMS.
Google has recently removed150 dangerous Android appsfrom the Google Play Store.
All these malicious apps were apart of a premium SMS scam campaign called UltimaSMS.

It asked the victims to sign up for the SMS services, which are very expensive.
When you initiate the app, it will ask you to key in your phone number or email address.
When you submit the details, it willsign up for a premium SMS service of around $40per month.

It will show more subscription options, or the app might stop working.
And every week, you will be charged by the scam service.
This is how you will lose your money in this scam.

All these malicious Android apps have been downloaded more than 10.5 million times.
However, Google has now banned all the apps that were a part of this campaign.
