Below, we have shared a step-by-step guide on adding music to your Instagram story.
We have used an Android gadget to demonstrate the process; iOS users must follow the same steps.
First, fire up the Instagram app on your Android smartphone.
Next, tap on the(+)icon in the top-right corner.
From the menu that appears, tap on theStory.
On the Story creation screen, you canrecord a video or select an existing image/videofrom the bottom left corner.
After picking the image/video you want to share, tap on thestickericon on the top.
Now, you will see various stickers to add to your Story post.
you’re gonna wanna scroll down and tap on theMusicSticker.
You will be asked to go for the song you want to add.
After finalizing the music, tap on the music name to add it to your story.
Now, you will be asked to grab the part of the song you want to include.
You canmove the slider bar to find the section of the songyou want to add.
After selecting the portion of the song, tap on theDonebutton in the top-right corner.
Once done, tap theforward arrow buttonon the bottom right corner of the screen.
On the share menu, tapYour Storyand then theSharebutton.
This will post your story with the music you have added.
Sometimes, you may wish to share music that isnt available in the music library of Instagram.
Heres what you gotta do.
- fire up the Spotify app on your phone and play the music you want to share on Instagram.
Tap on theShareicon at the bottom-right corner of the Spotify app.
On the Share menu, tap onInstagram Stories.
On the Instagram Story creator screen, tap Your Story.
The Spotify music will be shared on your Instagram Stories.
Viewers need to tap the Play on Spotify button at the top to play the song directly on Spotify.
