Most of the commands you use on CMD can be used on PowerShell.

Being a more advanced version of CMD, PowerShell is more complicated to use, but its very powerful.
With PowerShell, users can jump into the core features of the operating system.
It even allows users to customize parameters on the unit.

This is why its always recommended to run PowerShell as an administrator.
Although the process is easy, it still takes a few extra steps to run PowerShell with administrative rights.
1) Using Windows Terminal Preview
Important:This feature is available only onWindows Terminal Preview 1.13.

First of all, tap on theWindows 11 Searchand jot down in Windows Terminal.
Open Windows Terminal from the list of options.
Next, choose the drop-down arrow next to the new tab option and selectSettings.

On the tweaks, select thePowershelloption.
On the right, fire up the toggle button behindRun this profile as administrator.
Once done, punch theSavebutton.

This will always open PowerShell as an admin in Windows 11.
Here we will create a desktop shortcut to run PowerShell as administrator.
First, right-click anywhere on a blank space and selectNew > Shortcut.

On the location field, paste the following path:
C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe

Once done, hit the Next button.
On the next screen,name the new shortcutand press theFinishbutton.

Now right tap on the shortcut file and selectProperties.
On theShortcuttab, hit theAdvanced optionas shown below.
On the Advanced Properties pop-up, check theRun as administratoroption and hit theOkbutton.

Its pretty easy to always run PowerShell as an administrator in Windows 11.
