Step 1.First of all, right-hit thePowerToysapplication from the system tray.

Step 2.From the right-click menu, selectSettings.
Step 3.From the left pane, choose thePowerRenameoption.
Step 4.On the right pane, switch on the optionEnable PowerRenameandShow icon on context menuoption.

Step 5.Now pop pop the File Explorer and right-click multiple files or folders.
From the right-click menu, selectPowerRename.
Step 6.Now you will see the PowerRename Window.

Step 7.Once done, PowerRename will show you a preview of the results.
If you are happy with the result, select theRenamebutton.
Note:If you cannot find thePowerRenametool, check that to update the PowerToys.

To update PowerToys, click onGeneraland then pick the Check for Updates.
