Like every other navigation app, Google Maps allows you to set your home address.
While this feature is useful, you may have to change your home address on Google Maps.
Also, updating your home address will help you get directions from the Google Maps home screen.
Just follow some of the simple steps we have shared below.
To get started, open theGoogle Mapsapp on your phone.
When the Google Maps app opens, switch to theSavedsection at the bottom.
On the Saved screen, tap on theLabeled.
On the Labeled, tap on theHome.
Alternatively, tap on Choose on Map, then drag the pin on the map to set the address.
Once selected, tap theSavebutton to set your home address.
Heres what you should probably do.
Launch theGoogle Mapsapp and tap on your profile picture at the top right.
Next, navigate to theSettings > Edit Home or Work.
On the Saved screen, switch to theLabelled.
Pick a saved address and select Edit option.
Next, enter the new home address by selectingChoose on MaporChoose from Contacts.
Once youve done this, tapFinished.
Heres what you should probably do.
Open your favorite web net web client and visit theGoogle Maps webpage.
Sign in with yourGoogle accountto reach the maps.
Next, hit thehamburger menuon the left side of the search box.
On the menu that appears, selectSaved.
Switch to theLabeled, and press thethree dotsbeside Home.
On the menu that appears, selectSet your home address.
Now enter the home address you want to save & clickSave.
This will modernize your home address in Google Maps.
The saved home address will also appear on the Google Maps app for Android & iPhone.
