On previous builds of Windows 11, you could adjust the size of the icons in the Taskbar.

However, the latest builds do not offer such options.

If you dont like the default taskbar size or screen resolution, heres how to change it.

regedit

So, confirm to backup the registry before making any changes.

Right punch space in the right pane.

SelectNew > DWORD (32-bit)Value.

navigate to this path

Name this new value asTaskbarSi.

Double nudge the TaskbarSi value andset its data to one of the following:

Once done, clickOkto save the Changes.

To apply the changes, reboot your PC or restart Windows Explorer from the Task Manager.

While this isnt an appropriate solution, it works well.

Right click anywhere on your desktop and selectDisplay parameters.

On the right side, click theScaledrop-down.

You need toreduce the scale percentageto100%.

This will shrink your taskbar icon.

Next, click theDisplay Resolutiondrop down.

Increasing the resolution will make taskbar elements smaller.

To increase Taskbar icons size, you gotta decrease the resolution.
