Disabling Windows Menu Animations Duration

First of all, press theWin+R keys on the keyboard.
This will fire up the RUN dialog box, typeregeditand press the Enter button.
Now in the registry options, navigate to the locationHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
There at the right panel, find the optionMenuShowDelay.
This is the option that stores the time duration of the Start Menu animation.
With this, the windows Menu Animations Duration will get decreased.
First of all, right-punch the start button and selectSystem.
Now in the system, hit the option Advanced system parameters.
Now under the performance, choose the optionSettings.
Dont blindly disable all visual effects, as it may ruin your Windows experience.
Just turn off the one you feel is unnecessary.

However, it takes forever to load.
PressWindows Key + Rto fire up the Run dialog box.
Now on the Run Dialog box, punch in insysdm.cpland press Enter.
Now it will fire up the System Properties.
Here it’s crucial that you switch to theAdvancedtab.
Now under the Performance tab, click onSettings.
- you gotta turn off the Animate Windows when minimizing and maximizing under the Performance.
Now, launch the Start Menu; it should appear instantly.
By default, the menu animation has been set to 400 milliseconds.
