Next, tap thePaperclipicon on the text field.
On the menu that appears, selectEvent.
Name the Event and write a short description.
Once done, tap the date andset the date and timefor the event.
On theLocationfield, add the location where youre planning the event.
If you want to set up a call feature for the Event, tap onCall typeand select betweenVideoorVoice.
Once done, tap the Send button at the bottom right corner.
The event will be shared with the WhatsApp group.
How to Cancel a WhatsApp Event?
it’s possible for you to also cancel the WhatsApp Event youve created if you want.
kindly note that the Attendees will be notified if you cancel the event or make any changes to it.
To cancel a WhatsApp Event, bring up the group chat where youve created it.
Tap on the Event and then selectCancel Event.
This will cancel the event youve set up.
How do you find upcoming events in a group?
Finding a groups event is relatively easy.
To do so, bring up the group and tap on the Group name at the top.
On the group information screen, you will see all upcoming events.
