When you select a folder to delete on Windows 11, the operating system calculates the progress update.

In Windows 11 Search, throw in Command Prompt.

Next, right-choose Command Prompt and selectRun as administrator.

Right-hit it and selectCopy as Path.

Now switch to the Command Prompt utility and key in incdfollowed by the path youve copied.
For example: cd D:\Games

Now typedel /f/q/s *.
nuland pressEnter.
If you want to return to one level in the folder path, typecd..and press Enter.

Now punch in the following command to delete the folder and all its subfolders and press Enter.
Important:Replace theFOLDER-NAMEwith the actual name of the folder you want to delete.
This will add a Quick Delete shortcut to the Windows 11 Context menu.

Right-choose the Fast Delete key and selectNew > Key.
Name the new key ascommandand press Enter.

Double-tap on the default key on the right.
On the Edit String prompt, enter the following line in the Value data field and click OK.

Now, navigate to the folder that you want to delete.

Right-choose it and pick the Fast Delete option from the context menu.
