On Telegram prefs, selectData and Storage.

First, open theTelegram desktop appon your PC.

Under the Advanced option, find theAutomatic media downloadsection.
You will find three options here.

- choose any option under the Automatic Media download anddisable the Photos and Files.
you should probably do the same for In private chats, In groups, and In Channels.
If you have limited internet bandwidth, you should suspend the Auto-Download Media option on Telegram.
