How to Disable Google Password Manager on Desktop

Launch theGoogle Chromebrowser on your desktop.
Next, select theprofile iconat the top-right corner.

On the menu that appears, click theGoogle Password Managericon.
On the Google Password Manager screen, switch to theSettingstab on the left.
On the right pane, turn off the toggle for Offer to save passwords.

This will disable Google Password Manager on Chrome for desktop.
Launch theGoogle Chromeapp on your Android phone.
Next, tap on thethree dotsat the top right corner.

On the Chrome menu, selectSettings.
On the options screen, click onPassword Manager.
On the Password Manager screen, tap theGear iconat the top right.

On the Password Manager options, turn off the toggle forOffer to save passwords.
This will immediately suspend the Google Password Manager on Chrome for Android.
So, if you use Google Chrome on iOS, you should probably take these actions instead.

Launch theGoogle Chromeapp on your iPhone.
When Google Chrome opens, tap on thethree horizontal dotsat the bottom right corner.
On the Chrome menu, tapPassword Manager.

On the Password Manager screen,turn offthe toggle for Offer to save passwords.
This will turn off the Google Chrome password manager on iPhone.
