Windows 11s search menu shows all your recent searches.
While its a great feature, its not meant for everyone.
There are ways to disable Recent Searches on Windows 11; heres how.

- nudge the Windows 11 Start button and selectSettings.
On the tweaks page, click thePrivacy & Securityoption.
On the Right pane, scroll down and select theSearch permissions.

On the Search Permissions screen, scroll down to theHistorysection.
Next,turn offthe toggle forSearch historyon this unit.
This will turn off the Search History.

To clear your existing gear search history, click theClear gear search historybutton.

How to scrub the Windows Search History?

Next, scroll down to the History section.
In the Search History section of this gear section, click onClear gear Search History.
