Name the newly created REG_DWORD value asEnableSmartScreen.
Next, double-hit the EnableSmartScreen, set the Value data to0, and click theOKbutton.

After making the changes, start your Windows 11 PC.
This will block the Defender SmartScreen on your Windows 11.
If you wish to initiate the SmartScreen feature again,delete the EnableSmartScreen valueyou created inStep 4.

Press theWindows Key + Rbutton to initiate the RUN dialog box.
On the Run dialog box, throw in ingpedit.mscand hit theEnterbutton.

On the right pane, find and double-tap on theConfigure Windows Defender SmartScreenPolicy.
On the next Window, selectDisabledand click theApplybutton.
After making the above changes, reboot your gear.

After the restart, the Windows Defender SmartScreen will be disabled.
Is there any way to deactivate the SmartScreen Filter for Certain Websites?
Theres no way toselectively shut down the SmartScreen filterfor certain websites or apps.

This is a system-wide setting in Windows and cant be disabled for specific websites or apps.
Ensure your antimalware program is ready when you turn off the SmartScreen filter.
Windows Defender SmartScreen is a great security feature that you shouldnt turn off.

If you still want to turn it off, double-check you use other security programs on your rig.
