The feature protects the Documents, Pictures, Videos, Music, and Favorites folders by default.

How to Enable Controlled Folder Access on Windows 11?
Heres how to do so.
Launch theWindows Securityapp on your setup.
When the Windows Security app opens, switch toVirus & Threat Protection.
On the right side, click onManage options.
Scroll down to theControlled Folder Access.
Then, activate the toggle for it.
This will enable Controlled Folder Access on your Windows 11 PC.
How to Manage the Blocked Files?
it’s possible for you to also check which files are blocked using the Controlled Folder Access feature.
If you want, you’re free to manually remove the block as well.
Navigate to theControlled Folder Accessscreen.
Then, click onBlock History.
Now you will find all the files that were blocked.
