Now, you will be asked to save the recovery key.
Choose how much of your drive to encrypt, selectEncrypt used disk space only,and click theNextbutton.
SelectCompatible modeand click theNextbutton on the next screen.
Next, click theStart encryptionbutton to begin the encryption process.
How to Access Encrypted USB Drive?
Once the drive is encrypted, you will find a yellow lock icon next to the encrypted drive.
Enter the password to unlock the drive.
How to Disable BitLocker?
Disabling BitLocker on Windows 11 is pretty easy; follow the easy steps we have shared below.
- punch the Start button and selectControl Panel.
On the Control Panel, select theBitLocker Drive Encryptionoption as shown below.
Now, find your encrypted drive, and tap on theUnlock drivelink beside the drive name.
On the confirmation prompt, click theTurn off BitLockerbutton again.
The BitLocker Drive Encryption process will start anddecrypt the drive.
