Lockdown mode is a security feature designed to block all biometric security and voice recognition through Smart Lock.

So, what the security feature does is itdisables all less-secure ways to unlock your Android smartphone.
First of all, open your Android app drawer and tap on theSettingsapp.
On the prefs, scroll down and tap on theLock Screen.

Next, on the Lock Screen, scroll down and tap on theSecure Lock tweaks.
On the Secure lock tweaks screen, find the Show lockdown option.
To unlock the lockdown mode, unlock the toggle forShow lockdown option.

Next, tap and hold the power button of your phone.
You will find a newLockdown optionin the Power off menu.
Tapping on the Lockdown mode will immediately lock your phone.
