Here’s how to enable & use the nearby share feature of Android.

The nearby share feature allows Android users to share links and files between devices.

However, later it was rolled out to all Android devices.

Tap on the Edit button

With this method, it’s possible for you to share files between devices.

First of all,pull down the Notification paneland tap on theEditbutton.

Under the Edit, you will find theNearby Shareoption.

Tap on the Nearby share

Simply tap on the button to turn it on.

Once done, you will see a prompt like below.

Here, tap on theTurn onbutton.

Tap on the ‘Turn on’ button

Once done, locate the file that you want to share and tap on theSharebutton.

From the share menu, select theNearby Sharebutton.

It will now scan for the nearby unit.

Tap on the ‘Share’ button

Next, tap on the rig name.

The receiver will get a prompt, asking them to tap on theAcceptbutton.

Note:You cant share files unless you save the nearby user as your contact.

Select the ‘Nearby Share’ button

So, check that to save the user as a contact on your rig.
