Although Hyper-V is a great feature, its not easy to set up.
Users need to go through a lengthy process to configure & use Hyper-V on a Windows 11 operating system.
Important:The Windows Sandbox feature is available only on Windows 11 Pro, Education, and Enterprise edition.
Also, it’s crucial that you enable Virtualization to use the feature.
First, launch the Windows 11 search and key in in Control Panel.
Then, open theControl Panelapp from the list.
On the Control Panel, tap on theProgramsoption as shown below.
On the Programs, choose thePrograms and Featuresoption.
On the left pane, hit theTurn Windows features on or offlink.
On the next pop-up, scroll down andenabletheWindows Sandboxoption.
Once done, hit theOkbutton.
Windows 11 will now switch on the feature.
The process will require a restart; choose theRestart nowbutton to complete the installation process.
After the restart, open Windows 11 search, and key in inWindows Sandbox.
choose the Windows Sandbox app on the list.
Now, you will see a lightweight and secure version of Windows 11.
It will look like a virtual machine running Windows 11. you could now test your apps & files.
For that, you oughta terminate the Sandbox Window.
If you end the Sandbox window, all your content will be discarded and permanently lost.
On the confirmation prompt, hit the Ok button.
First, press theWindows Key + Rbutton to fire up the RUN dialog box.
pop in inoptionalfeatures.exeand press Enter.
On the Windows Feature pop-up,uncheck the Windows Sandboxoption and tap on the Ok button.
On the next pop-up, choose theRestart nowbutton.
