Hide Files & Folders in Windows 11
Well, hiding files & folders are pretty easy on Windows 11.
You dont need to use any third-party software or change the registry to hide specific files/folders.
Instead, you should probably pop launch the file explorer, snag the files, and make changes.
Right-tap on the file or folder and selectProperties.
On the Properties, check theHiddenbox and punch theOkbutton.
On the confirmation popup, punch theApply changes to this folder onlyoption and punch the Ok button.
How to Show Hidden Files & Folders?
Open File Explorer and tap on theView > Show.
On the Show menu, select theHidden itemsoption.
This will show all hidden files and folders.
Now right grab the hidden file you want to unhide and selectProperties.
On the file/folder Properties page,uncheckthe hidden optionand hit the Ok button.
This will unhide the file/folder in Windows 11.
The hidden drive will not appear on your File Explorer.
Heres what you better do.
First of all, open Windows Search and key in inDisk Management.
Open Disk Management from the list.
Now go for the drive letter and punch theRemovebutton.
You may get a warning; just press theYesbutton.
Now, open File Explorer, and you will see the drive is not available anymore.
To return the drive, open Disk Management again and right-hit the Disk with no name.
Then, choose the Change Drive Letter and paths.. option.
Now, you just need toadd a drive letterto the drive.
Once done, tap on theOkbutton.
The drive will be back on the File Explorer.
You dont need to rely on any third-party utilities to hide files on the new operating system.
