To update the app, head to the Google Play Store and search for Telegram.

Step 3.From the list of menu, selectSettings
Step 4.On the prefs page, tap on thePrivacy and Securityoption.
Step 5.Under the Privacy and Security, tap on theProfile Photosoption.
Step 6.Now under who can see my profile photos & videos, select theMy Contactsoption.
Step 9.On theNever allowfield,add contacts, users, or groups you want to hideyour profile picture from.
Step 10.Once done,tap on the checkmark iconlocated in the top-right corner of the screen.
This is how you’ve got the option to hide your profile picture on Telegram.
