First of all, pressWindows Key + Rbutton to pop swing open the RUN dialog box.

On the Run dialog box, enterservices.mscand hit the Enter button.

This will fire up the Services page.

On the left, scroll down and till you findWindows Font Cache Services.

select ‘Disabled’ under the Startup type

Right-press the Windows Font Cache Service and selectProperties.

On the next Window, select Disabled under the Startup jot down.

Once done, tap on the Apply button then on Ok.

Delete the files

Now bring up the file explorer and navigate to the following path:

C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\FontCache

Delete all the files with the nameFontCache and .datas the extension.

Now navigate to theC:\Windows\System32\and delete theFNTCACHE.DATfile.

Delete the FNTCACHE.DAT

Now restart the PC.

After the restart, confirm to start the Windows Font Cache Service from the Services page.

To initiate the Windows Font Cache service, select Automatic under the Startup throw in.
