Set Default OS for Dual Boot System!

Lets admit it; sometimes, we want to try any new operating system without leaving the previous one.

Dual boot is a configuration with two or more operating systems installed on your gear.

Run Dialog box

If you do so, your PC will always boot with your preferred desktop operating system.

This wont work if you have a Windows and Linux dual-boot system.

Heres what you’re gonna wanna do.

First, press theWindows Key + Rbutton to open theRun Dialog box.

On the RUN Dialog box, enterSystemPropertiesAdvancedand press theOkbutton.

On the System Properties Window, press theAdvancedtab.

Now choose theSettingsbutton located under theStartup and Recovery.

On the Default operating system drop-down menu,opt for OSyou want to set as default and choose theOkbutton.

Now Windows will automatically boot into this OS when you turn on your gear.

First of all, hit the Windows Start button and search forSystem Configuration.

On the System Configuration page, punch theBootoption.

Under the boot option,go for the OSthat you want to set as default.

Next, select theSet as defaultbutton, as shown in the screenshot below.

The default OS label will appear next to your selected Operating system.
