What is a Metered Connection?
A metered connection or connection is simply a connection that provides you with a limited amount of monthly data.
Metered Connection on Android neither compresses your data nor reduces the video streaming quality to back up your data.
Metered Connection is a term used to describe a data pipe with limited internet data.
Here are some simple steps.
Pull down the notification shutter on your Android and tapSettings.
On the configs app, tap on theConnectionsoption.
Next, on the Connections screen, tap on theWiFi.
You will now see the WiFi internet you are connected to.
Tap theSettingsicon next to it.
On the next screen, tap on the View More orAdvancedoptions.
Next, tap on theMetered Networksection and select theTreat as meteredoption from the drop-down menu.
This will set your WiFi web link as a Metered connection.
From now on, your Android rig will always treat that particular WiFi online grid as a metered connection.
