One of Telegrams less talked about features is the ability to share live locations.
Live location sharing on Telegram was introduced in 2017, but it hasnt received much attention from users.
This is mainly because shortly after Telegrams launch, WhatsApp also introduced the same feature to its users.
The live location-sharing feature lets you share your location in real time with your Telegram friends.
Heres how you might share your live location in Telegram for Android.
First, open your Android app drawer and tap on theTelegram appfor Android.

On the chat text box, tap on theattachment (Paperclip) icon.
From the menu that pops up, tap on theLocation.
The Telegram app will ask you to grant the location permission.
Grantall permissionsthat the app asks for.
Once done, you will find two options Send my current locationandShare My Live Location for..

On the next pop-up,select how long you want to share your live locationwith the chosen individual.
Once done, tap on theSharebutton.
This will embed your live location into a map and send it to the recipient.
To revoke live location sharing, tap on the location-embedded text and select theStop sharing locationbutton.
Apart from the Telegram, you’re free to alsoshare your live location via WhatsApp.
WhatsApps live location sharing feature is very similar to Telegrams one.
Launch the Telegram app on your iPhone.
When the app opens,launch the chatwhere you want to share your live location.
On the chat field, tap thePaperclipicon.
On the list of options that appears, selectLocation.
Next,AllowTelegram to use your location.
On the Location prompt, tapShare my Live Location for.
Next, select thetime frame.
Your Location will be sent on the chat.
The receiver would be able to track your location in real time.
