This makes finding unread and group messages easy.
What are the new chat filters?
WhatsApp recently added three new chat filters: All, Unread, and Groups.
These filters allow you to sort messages easily.
To get started, launch the Google Play Store or Apple App Store andupdate the WhatsApp app.
Once updated, launch the WhatsApp app on your phone.
When the app opens, switch to theChatstab.
This will show you all the messages.
Simply swipe from the top to reveal thenew chat filters.
You will find three new filters at the top:All, Unread, Groups.
If you want to see all unread messages, switch to the Unread tabs.
Similarly, to view the Group messages, switch to the Groups.
This is also a chat filtering option; you should use it to your advantage.
Heres how to find WhatsApp chats from a specific date.
- initiate the WhatsApp app on your gadget.
Next, initiate the WhatsApp chat or group where you want to look for messages by date.
After opening the chat, tap thethree dotsat the top right corner and selectSearch.
On the Search field, tap on theCalendarbutton.
This will bring up the Calendar.snag the datefor which you want to find the conversation.
Once done, tap onOK.
