Microsoft Edge isnt as famous as Chrome, but its slowly gaining popularity.
However, a few Windows users have recently claimed that their Edge online window keeps disabling the added extensions.
If youre facing the same problem, heres what you might do to fix it.

This is because some extensions change the net web client prefs and other types of site data.
This is the only reason some extensions were automatically turned off when you restart the Edge web app.
Heres how you might turn on the Edge extensions.

Launch theEdge browseron your gear.
Next, tap thethree dotsat the top right corner.
On the Edge menu, selectExtension > Manage Extensions.

On the Manage Extensions screen, turn on the extensions you plan to use.
Check the Extensions that youve installed
Microsoft Edge can also deactivate the malicious extensions due to the security features.
So, its important to double check the list of extensions that youve installed on the Edge web client.

Simply kick off the web net surf tool and navigate to Extensions > Manage Extensions.
On the Extensions screen, check for unwanted extensions.
If you find any suspicious extension, remove it from the web surfing app.

To update Microsoft Edge, click onthree dots > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge.
On the next screen, Microsoft Edge will automatically set up the pending updates.
It will also turn off all extensions and clear temporary data.

To Reset Microsoft Edge, press the three dots at the top right and select prefs.
On the Edge configs, navigate to theReset configs > Restore configs to their default values.
On the Reset options confirmation prompt, clickReset.
